EDIT: OKAY I'M DONE WITH DA, ONCE I FINISHED ALL MY COMMISSIONS (IF I'LL EVER BE ABLE TO, SINCE SOME COMMISSIONERS CAN'T SEND THEIR PAYMENT RIGHT NOW) I LEAVE THIS SITE. I WROTE MY SECOND MESSAGE TODAY, AND GOT AN ANSWER ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, SAYING THAT I HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 2 MONTHS AND AFTER THAT I CAN REQUEST A BAN APPEAL... 'the main purpose behind such a ban as this is to prevent future repeats of the same behavior.' WHAT BEHAVIOUR, I'M ASKING HERE???? I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING, CAN'T THEY UNDERSTAND, FOR GOD'S SAKE. I'M OUT.
So before I start ranting about how bad and uninterested the da customer care service in deviants problems, let me explain the source of my problem:
As you all may already know, there are quite a few conditions for using premium content ( in other words, the commission widget, which can help you earn money through da). In the past, I got system messages (exactly 2 of them) about how I attempted 'cash-out', and how it is not allowed through this whole system. However, they thought I sent my point to another deviant so she/he can send it back to me through the widget, so I can earn money from in, and it is, as I mentioned before, not allowed. However this not was the case, but I talk about this matter later on.
What really got me is the 3rd system message, which said that I was banned from using premium content since I tried 'cash-out' 3 times (you may have already know that when this occurs, they always send a refund to the buyer, and the amount will be removed from my list)... I didn't know why did this happen, and I was quite angry about it. Then I realized what was the problem. ONCE AGAIN A BIG MISUNDERSTANDING.
You maybe saw the poll I have posted more than a week ago, which says something like 'I have like 70 points and I'd like to buy something etc etc'. At this time, I got a commission from DallasInWonderland
, and I asked wether she wanted the points through the widget or the donation pool... She asked to send through the donation pool so I immediately sent her the points. Howerver, a day later, I opened a slot for black&white sketches in the commission widget, and she also asked for a commission, and she also sent me back the points (I sent her 70, she sent me back 100 btw). After a few hours or sooner I got the 3rd system message which said that I attempted 'cash-out'for the 3rd time, so I am banned from using the commission widget.
I was so furious about this, I immediately wrote a message through helpdesk, to inform them about the misunderstanding. I won't copy the message I sent and what I got for now, only if this matter becomes greater that as it is now. But, I wrote something about the misunderstanding and that I would be happy if this whole thing could be resolved. I worte this on the 7th of Jan. I've been waiting for an answer, hoping they will resolve this problem, since there are clear evidence about how BIG of a misunderstanding this was. I got my answer on the 9th... IT WAS AN AUTOMATIC MESSAGE WITH A CONTENT WHICH PRACTICALLY WASN'T EVEN CONNECTED TO THE SUBJECT I'VE BEEN ASKING/TALKING ABOUT! I wrote back a message immediatly, in which I said that I find it kind of unfair that I wait 2 days for an automatic message, and they also made my request solved in the helpdesk system. After I sent my reply to this, I also contacted that da staff member which banned me, because I do know who was the one haha... whatever.
On the 13th, I got the reply to my previous message, saying that they do understand that errors can occur in the system, but, and here I have to quote 'Please be assured that at a later date we will be happy to review your ban appeal request, however at present we are unable to assist any further in this issue.' I AM SO PISSED NOW. Like why is a helpdesk and customer care if they do nothing if it is clearly visible that this was their mistake. All 3 times when they sent my ernanings back to the buyer... It annoys me so much, I couldn't even write a proper reply to this yet, but oooh be sure I will once I'm done with my remaining exams. Oh and after all this, I got a message from the person who banned my premium content that she/he won't respond to these kind of issuses through personal account, so I should contact the helpdesk... WELL THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!
So.... what do you guys think about this? Now da is totally down in my eyes. I don't even care if they deactivate my account just to hide their mistakes, which they should correct in the moment they get a request like this. Thank you for reading, and I'm really curious about your opinions! it seems like this is something I can't solve on my own..
